Multimedia – Using your DSLR to make videos

With the introduction of new HDSLR’s like the Canon 5D Mark II and their ability to produce stunning professional quality video, photographers of all walks, commercial, portrait, wedding, and photojournalists are feeling pressure to master audio and video skills to add to their marketability. Photojournalist Brian Peterson will show how he incorporates both audio and video into still photo projects. This three hour class, designed as an introduction to the concepts, tools and techniques of producing multimedia stories, showcases projects Peterson has produced and dissects the pieces to show how they all come together. Whether working in your own back yard or traveling the world, this class will help you take your photography to the next level. Peterson will discuss his approach to lighting, composition, observation, preparation and working closely with your subjects. The techniques discussed in this lecture style class will help you capture the world around you with more depth and meaning
